Our founder
With more than 25 years of experience in billing and auditing in the healthcare industry, Carmen has held prominent roles in several healthcare systems in Puerto Rico, including the direction of Admission, Billing, and Collection in various hospitals.
With a Master's Degree in Business Administration and outstanding certifications such as Professional Medical Biller Trainer (PMBT), Professional Medical Biller Coding (PMBC), and Professional Medical Biller Audit (PMBA), her experience also encompasses the management of Optim Business Solutions for the Financial Audit Department of Hospitals, as well as teaching at the Association of Medical Billers of Puerto Rico (AFAMEP).
Throughout her career, she has led significant workshops for the Ponce School of Medicine, the Catholic University, and the Interamerican University. Additionally, she has played a key role in several important projects for hospitals in Puerto Rico.
Highlighting her commitment to excellence, she is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Her leadership and deep knowledge make her an influential figure in the field of medical billing and healthcare financial management.
Throughout her career, Carmen has conducted significant workshops for the Ponce Medical School, Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, and the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. Additionally, she has played a key role in several important projects for hospitals in Puerto Rico.
Highlighting her commitment to excellence, she is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Her leadership and in-depth knowledge make her an influential figure in the field of medical billing and financial management in the industry, as well as an invaluable member of her community.
